The SyncThru Web Service is an embedded web-based control panel that lets you monitor, manage, and configure your Samsung ML-2525W laser printer remotely using any web browser. Because it is built directly into the printer’s network firmware, you do not need to install any extra software on your computer. How to Access the SyncThru Interface

To manage your printer settings, you must connect to the interface through your local network.

Find the IP Address: Print a network configuration page. Since the ML-2525W does not have an LCD screen, hold down the Stop/Cancel button until the status LED flashes quickly, then let go. Locate the IP address on the printed sheet.

Open your Browser: Launch Google Chrome, Safari, or Microsoft Edge, type the printer’s IP address directly into the address bar (e.g., http://192.168.1.150), and press Enter.

Log In: Click Login in the upper right corner. Enter the default administrator credentials: ID: admin

Password: sec00000(Note: If you customize the password, keep it under 18 characters to prevent unexpected system lockouts). Core Settings You Can Manage

Logging in unlocks several functional tabs that let you change how the ML-2525W behaves on your network: 1. Information Tab

Supplies Monitoring: Check precise toner levels via visual graphs and track your historical page counts.

Active Alerts: View and diagnose active printer errors or paper jams immediately.

Print Reports: Remotely trigger configuration and network report printouts. 2. Settings Tab

Machine Settings: Adjust standard printing preferences, including default paper sizes, print darkness levels, and power-saving eco modes.

Network Settings: Manually configure your TCP/IPv4 or TCP/IPv6 properties, change network protocols, or alter your Wi-Fi/Ethernet setups. 3. Security Tab

Access Management: Change the default administrator credentials to secure the portal.

Network Filtering: IP/MAC filtering restricts unauthorized network devices from sending print jobs to your machine. 4. Maintenance Tab
